About

Hi!  Thanks for checking in on my website.  I hope that you are finding my blogs and coaching information and nonprofit leadership helpful for your leadership and organization.  A little about me….

I am a certified professional coach with the International Coach Federation, and I provide leadership education to individuals, nonprofit organizations and congregations.  I have a background of thirty years of parish and institutional ministry as a United Methodist clergywoman.  In 2015, I transitioned my career to higher education and nonprofit leadership as I’m completing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri.  My leadership experience and credentials include board development, strategic planning, staff supervision, research and evaluation, and community collaboration.

I am also certified in Executive Nonprofit Management from Duke University and blog with leadership in nonprofits in mind.  The nonprofit world is an exciting world of social entrepreneurship, community development, fund development and interpersonal relationships.  I hope to help resource leaders for this critical and significant work in our society and communities.

Prior to my doctoral work, I received a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School, magna cum laude.  My undergraduate degree in Religion and Communications was from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.  I am the proud mom of two amazing young adult daughters and when I’m not doing my daily job, I’m traveling, or dreaming about it.

I look forward to getting to know much more about you too!
